KFD firefighter in ICU after heart attack on job | News

A Knoxville firefighter is still in intensive care after suffering a heart attack while trying to put out a house fire.
Knoxville Fire Department spokesperson D.J. Corcoran said crews took Captain Mark Lacey to UT Medical Center late Tuesday night following a heart attack.
Lacey suffered a heart attack while fighting a house fire at 5508 Dandyline Drive Tuesday evening.
Doctors have stabilized Lacey, but he's still in the ICU at UT Medical Center.

The Knoxville Fire Department said a firefighter was sent to the hospital after battling a blaze in east Knoxville Tuesday evening.
Captain DJ Corcoran said the firefighter went to UT Medical Center for evaluation after responding to the call on Dandyline Drive.
